Our Stellar Stencil are made in Germany.
Frame
We add a frame around the actual PCB dimensions so that it is easy to place the PCB beneath it. The frame has the following dimensions around the PCB:
- Left and right: 20 mm (0.79 in)
- Top: ≥ 48.5 mm (1.91 in)
- Bottom: 46.5 mm (1.83 in)
PCBs with a width less than 40 mm (1.57 in) get a slightly wider frame on the left and right side:
- Left and right: 28 mm (1.10 in)
Pad Shrinking
As we will take care of shrinking the SMD pads, the actual drawing should have no pad shrinking. Otherwise it’ll double. We shrink the pads by 15% in volume.
Material
We only use high quality Japanese-made polished stainless steel for our stencils. They come with a thickness of 100μm.
