How do I make sure that through hole components, like screw terminals, end up oriented correctly? A lot of pluggable screw terminal bases appear at a glance similar. Moreover, there doesn’t appear to be a standard to indicate which way a screw terminal should point? I can indicate PIN 0 or PIN 1, but who says which end of a screw terminal has PIN 0 or PIN 1? The manufacturer data sheets don’t usually specify.

Something I always do is to draw the “tab” most screw terminals have on the silkscreen. If you want to be certain, you can send an image to the project manager, who forwards it to the assembler.

Okay, thanks.

How do I send an image to the project manager?
