We are UMD Racing, the Formula Student Team of the university of Magdeburg (Saxony-Anhalt, Germany).
The team was founded in 2008 and has a long tradition of 10 combustion vehicles. In 2020, we switched to an electrical drivetrain and competed with our first electrical race car “E-Bert” in 2022 at the Formula Student Czech Republic.
In 2023, we took our second electric race “Edelbert” to Silverstone (FSUK) and Hockenheim (FSG) and were able to win the efficiency category of FSUK!
Building on the success of last season, our team of approximately 50 active and highly-motivated members currently works on our next-generation electric vehicle.
