we have trouble with the assembly import of BRD files.
No components get automatically matched, even though we used MPN and eveb VALUE attributes for each component.
Please provide documentation on which attributes to set.

I can confirm this also.
Here is one of the parts that are on a pcb:
All the MPNs are empty:
It would be nice if the smart match would use the MPN field attribute.
I can only agree. The current setup in the background isn’t very flexible and uses a ULP which cannot read the Extra Attribute fields without the schematic being present. I have raised the issue internally already and will discuss it with the coworker next week.
The required information is present in the .brd file, which means with an adjustment of our software pipeline, we can support the MPN fields.
