Hi there, I have used your service in the past, but after receiving, and testing, the boards, I thought having a unique serial number impressed in one of the layers might have helped.
Is that possible with your service? How?

At the moment we do not have a system in place to do that. When we implement something like that would you like a ID per order or per board?

+1 from our side. We learned the hard way that it is way better for documentation purposes and it would be a great addition to your smart tests - to actually match the boards

FYI: One competitor implemented the feature right now: How to remove order number from your PCB?
They offer a 2D Barcode in QR Code or just a text.
We currently do not support the bar code as part of our self-service as serial numbers are highly individual. Nevertheless, we support them on request matching your requirements when needed, especially as part of an assembly. Just contact our account management here.
