Simple Supply update: sourcing components only just got simpler

Over the last months many of you told us that you’d love to use AISLER just for components, without having to order PCBs or assembly in the same step.

Good news: that has actually been possible already with Simple Supply – but we’ll admit it was a bit hidden. So we’ve brought it to the front where it belongs. :innocent:

What’s new?

Right next to where you upload your PCB design, you’ll now see a panel on the right-hand side:

“Interested only in electronic components?” → Create parts list

This is your entry point into Simple Supply when you want to:

  • order components only, without PCB manufacturing or assembly
  • start from an existing BOM file
  • or build a parts list directly in the browser

How Simple Supply works

Short version:
Sourcing electronic parts for your project is time-consuming and complex. With Simple Supply it’s handled in one workflow:

  • includes all components according to your BOM in the quantities you need
  • everything is shipped consolidated from our logistics in Germany
  • each bag/label carries your project’s customer reference, so you know exactly what belongs where on your bench

And the nice bit:
You don’t need an AISLER template. Our tool is smart enough to understand your existing parts list.

Step-by-step: components only

  1. Go to your project and either upload a PCB file or start directly with “Create parts list” on the right.
  2. Choose whether you want to upload a BOM (e.g. CSV/XLSX) or create it manually.
  3. Simple Supply parses your list and matches parts from our component catalogue.
  4. You can tweak designators, quantities and part choices directly in the browser.
  5. Once you’re happy, head to checkout – this order contains only components, no PCB or assembly required.

When to use Simple Supply

Simple Supply is a great fit when:

  • you already have boards (from AISLER or elsewhere), but still need parts
  • you want a single, consolidated delivery instead of sourcing from multiple distributors
  • your purchasing team prefers one invoice and one shipment
  • you’re preparing a prototype run and want to avoid manual BOM hunting
