Hi AISLER Community!
We are student team InMotion from the Eindhoven University of Technology, and we build the world’s fastest-charging electric race car. Our mission is to push the boundaries of electric mobility by tackling one of its biggest challenges: charging speed. We focus specifically on innovating battery pack technology, where thermal management plays a critical role. Efficient cooling is one of the main bottlenecks in achieving ultra-fast charging, and it’s an area where we continuously develop and improve.
At this stage of our development, we are working on enhancing the manufacturability and robustness of our battery pack. This is an essential step as we prepare for endurance racing, where reliability and consistency are just as important as performance. A racecar is only as strong as its weakest component, and in high-stress environments, every design decision matters.
To support these improvements, we integrated PCBs from AISLER into our system. These boards are used to accurately measure voltage levels within our battery submodules. Having precise and reliable voltage monitoring is crucial, not only for performance optimization but also for safety and long-term durability of the battery pack.
AISLER’s PCBs allow us to implement a clean, compact, and reliable sensing solution that fits seamlessly into our design. This helps us maintain high data accuracy while keeping the system robust under racing conditions such as vibrations, temperature variations, and high current loads.
By incorporating these PCBs into our battery architecture, we take another step toward building a racecar that can charge extremely fast while remaining reliable over extended periods of demanding use.
We’re excited to continue pushing the limits of electric racing, and we’re glad to have AISLER as part of that journey!
