The biggest choice of PCBs, easily accessible for everyone
Some German-speaking people may remember how AISLER got started. This beautiful little forum post about the pilot phase of a new pooling service in Europe is already nine years old. Since then, we have pioneered affordable, quick and simple manufacturing made in Europe.
With growing demand we could add more and more technologies to our portfolio and make manufacturing in Europe a lot more affordable in the process. However, that high degree of standardization comes at a cost. We were extremely unflexible on a couple of technical parameters. While this works for 80% of your designs, that 20% would prove to be a nuisance. To cater you any other technology would mean not being able to pool resources. Which is why we decided to not do it in the past.
Technically that decision was not fair against you as a customer, because you couldn’t order that particular configuration you were looking for and had to go elsewhere. However, when selling assembly we have always supported custom configurations be it another PCB colors or other copper thicknesses. So why should we not offer this at scale for all of our customers purchasing regular PCBs.
So today is a special day when we release the possibility to order custom configurations. We call it Beautiful Boards+.
With Beautiful Boards+ you can choose from:
- A much broader variety of layers: 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-Layer PCBs
- Great new PCB colors:
green, 
white, 
black, 
red, or 
blue - Our all new silkscreen options:
black, or 
white - New refined copper thicknesses: 35 µm, or 70 µm
100% Made in Europe to the core
Everyone is talking about PCBs that are made in China, and that China is taking away all the demand. This is just not true. We believe that European manufacturers are just not accessible enough. Did you know for example, that all of our manufacturers work with base material produced in Europe? All of our offerings are hence literally European to the core. We intend to make European manufacturing more approachable and easy to use. The simpler, the better. This is what we strive for. Make hardware less hard for everyone in Europe!

From today on, you can use Beautiful Boards+ in our checkout, which also means, you can make use of all the neat tricks to lower the price (for example by adding a nice AISLER logo to the PCB as shown in this tutorial). Our checkout will automagically pick a Beautiful Boards+ configuration should you have selected options that fall into that category. If it is “just” a regular Beautiful Boards configuration, our check-out will select that affordable option automagically. You can also set your preferred choices on project level, and we will then automatically select those choices. Oh, and did you know, you will also have the same choices on the Amazing Assembly tab as well.
