Aperture Adjustment Ratio

Under this link: Stencil Aperture Adjustment ambiguous data is provided. The text states the opening will be shrunk by (1-0.13)², but the image states it will be shrunk by (1-0.15)². Which one is the actual value being used?

I need to make sure some stencil openings are manufactured in exactly the right size, and want to enlarge my apertures, so they are correct after shrinking.

Okay, it’s even worse than that.

I am using my stencil holes for registration, so I need them to be exactly 2 mm in diameter.

The Aisler process makes it impossible to achieve that:

When a design is uploaded, our system will create a test opening/area which is 10 µm larger than the stencil aperture in the design. The system will now create test points along the outline of the test opening/area and probe if the test shape touches copper. If all test points touch copper, we assume the aperture was already optimized.

If some points do not touch copper, we assume the stencil aperture was not adjusted, we will apply our adjustment then, the opening will be shrunk by (1-0.13)² * A-original. Small openings where one or more sides are smaller than 250 µm will not be shrunk as to not impact the printing process.

If I make the stencil aperture exactly 2 mm your 10 mu opening will not touch copper and it will be adjusted and be way too small in the end:

If I enlarge it by the same amount it will be made smaller afterwards:

the extension will touch copper and therefore the hole will not be made smaller and it will be way too large in the end?

What can I do here? The ideal solution for me would be a “I know what the heck I am doing, please do not change my stencil apertures” button while ordering.
